Ph.D. Student and Postdoctoral Researcher
Tina is interested in the evolution of human phenotypic variation among populations. Her doctoral research was completed in 2021 with her thesis “The Genetic Architecture and Evolutionary Function of Human Scalp Hair Morphology.” She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology & Anthropology at the University of Cambridge where she wrote a thesis entitled “Human Hair Diversity: Quantitative Variation in Hair Fibre Shape & Pigmentation.”
Tina’s other research interests include social perceptions of race and the history of scientific racism. She is also actively involved in science communication and can be found on Twitter and at her website.
