Logan Kistler
Dr. Logan Kistler earned his PhD in Anthropology from Penn State in 2012. Following this, he was appointed as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Anthropology and Biology at Penn State, and then as an NERC Independent Research Fellow in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Warwick in the UK. Logan is now Curator of Archaeology at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. His research investigates plant domestication and evolutionary ecology in human contexts using ancient DNA and genomics. His work appears in highly ranked scientific journals, including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of Human Evolution, Nature, and Journal of Archaeological Science.
