Jill-Lynn Mijares

Ms. Jill-Lynn Mijares earned a BS in Biological Anthropology from Penn State in 2016. Before graduating, Jill-Lynn volunteered as a research assistant in the lab of Dr. David Puts. Jill-Lynn is currently a medical student at St. Luke's College of Medicine in Manila, Philippines. According to Jill-Lynn,

“A degree in Biological Anthropology helped me grasp an array of principles in research methods, culture, psychology, and the physical sciences. I will use what I've learned from my undergraduate career to explore how varying demographics affect the efficiency and quality of healthcare. I am very grateful that my degree has given me a very holistic experience throughout my undergraduate career.”
