Anthropology Honors Program

Schreyer Scholars are encouraged to major in Anthropology. The honors program provides opportunities for students to enrich their academic experience through honors courses, honors options, and hands-on research experience in laboratories and in the field. This enriched experience can culminate in an independent research project as part of the Honors Thesis. For more information on the Honors Program, visit the Schreyer Honors College or contact the Department of Anthropology Honors Adviser .

Paterno Fellows and Gateway Admissions

The College of the Liberal Arts also offers ambitious students the opportunity to earn admission into the Schreyer Honors College through the innovative Paterno Fellows Program. Paterno Fellows are expected to distinguish themselves through the core components of a Liberal Arts degree – ethics, service, leadership, communication, intercultural awareness. Students interested in the Paterno Fellows Program should consult the Program website.

Current students may also apply to the Schreyer Honors College for Gateway Admission. Visit the Schreyer Honors College Gateway Admission website for more information.
