The public is welcome to take self-guided tours of the museum during regular hours, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., or by appointment. For larger groups, please email matsonmuseum@psu.edu to make arrangements in advance. We look forward to having you!
Museum Location
Matson museum is located on the second floor of Carpenter Building in the northwest corner of the Penn State University Park campus – between the Nittany Lion Shrine, the Nittany Lion Inn, and the Nittany Parking deck.
Parking is available at the Nittany Parking Deck next to Carpenter Building. The museum is close to restaurants in the Nittany Lion Inn and Kern Building, and is within walking distance of downtown State College.
